Synopsis:
Eric has had enough of the Misfits' mischief making, and leaves Misfits Music, determined to come back as the boss or not at all. Lindsey Pierce calls Jerrica with a hot tip, there's a new group just in from west Germany, the Stingers, they're looking to sign with a major US record label. Jerrica and Kimber go to watch them play at Le Klub Kool, and so does Eric.

Trivia:
This episode introduced the new characters Riot, Rapture and Minx, which togheter form the band the Stingers. This meant that the show had three main bands, the Stingers being the only band with a male singer. The Stingers was meant to be released as dolls in 1988, but Hasbro cancelled them.

The Misfits apparently behave like rockstars when they stay at hotels.

Until this episode, Eric owned a beach house in Malibu. He then sold it to buy Misfits Music. Since this episode Eric owns nothing but some outfits and half of Stingers Sound.

In this episode, Starlight Music's overall financial condition is good, but most of the profits Jem and the Holograms make, have been going into the Starlight Foundation.

The Stingers came straight from West Germany to play at Le KLub Kool.

There is an issue of Cool Trash that has the Stingers on the cover.

The Stingers are the biggest thing to hit town in years.

Jem and the Holograms are honored at the Rock Hard cafe as their guitar joins their hall of fame in recognition of their contribution to rock music.

Jem is the most perfect woman Riot has ever seen, and Riot thinks that the Holograms are all as beautiful as their music. Jem, Kimber and Raya are all attracted to Riot. But Aja isn't.

Minx thinks Rio is twice the fun, because she can steal him from two women, Jerrica and Jem.

Riot says he went to high school with Minx in west Germany, his father was stationed there with the army. So apparently west Germany is where Minx is from. This does not fit in well with the story told by Riot in the episode "Riot's Hope", but then again, this episode was written by Christy Marx, so this is the correct version.

We get to see some new and different hairstyles for Jerrica, Jem and some of the Holograms.

The song "Like A Dream" by Jem and the Holograms is re-used. Previously appeared in the episode "The Disaster".
