This is where Techrat invents all the cool and freaky gadgets for Eric and the
Misfits, the Misfits Girls, and even the Stingers, to use against Jem and the
Holograms.
Techrat's place is a makeshift garage workshop. It's full of electrical and
electronic components like monitors, keyboards, coaxial cables, wires, diodes, circuit
boards, optical fibres, bizarre gadgets, computers, TVs, recorders.
In my opinion the rathole looks more like an igloo made of metal.

The garage is located right next to the "rathole".

Looks like factories in the background. Not a very nice area to live in, but maybe
this is just his workshop.

Garage
It has acorrugated metal door. Opened with a remote control. This is where he keeps his larger
gadgets like the flying stage he invented for the Misfits to outstage the Jem Jam.

This is what you see on the outside when opening one of the garage doors.

Inside
Contrary to the outside, the inside doesn't seem to have a consistant design.
Shelves, floor, desk and computers are some things that look different from episode
to episode.
|
Techrat's workbench is covered
with soldering devices, tiny screwdrivers, needlenose pliers, magnifying glass on a
moveable arm.

Back in the 80's, the computers weren't anywhere near as sophisticated as today, but
Techrat's computers were in some senses beyond what can be done today.

Exit
This exit doesn't really correspond with how the main entrance looks from the
outside, so this might be a backdoor.
