The Stingers

The Stingers is the third major group to join the series, after Jem and the Holograms and The Misfits, and with a new sound. It's the only of the three groups with a male lead singer. Infact this new group consists entirely of troublemakers, but in a less obvious and somewhat more subtle way, or as they say themselves, they like to play mind games and have fun at people's expense. And they manage to shake things around, even for the Misfits.

Eric Raymond manages to have them sign to Misfits Music, and they accept with the condition that they are given half the company and rename it Stinger's Sound.

Riot (Rory Llewelyn)

The leadsinger of the Stingers, who also plays guitar. His charisma practically casts a spell over most people who see him, including Pizzazz and Jem. He doesn't really use his charm on Jerrica, Roxy, Stormer and Jetta. And those who are on their guard against him like Aja, aren't affected. Unlike his rival Rio, Riot likes Jem's mystery, and doesn't want to find out who she really is, because he doesn't tolerate the slightest flaw. Riot considers himself perfect, and will never settle for anything but the best. He doesn't like to talk about his family and background. His family was forced to move around alot to different cities and even countries when Riot grew up, and never stayed long enough for Riot to form any friendships. Riot spent his last three years of high school in Germany, he speaks fluent German, and likes Germany better than any other place he has lived. Although Riot wanted to play music, his father never approved of it, and pushed him to join the army. But while stationed in west Germany, Riot joined his first band, Nirvana.

The only thing that gets Rapture going is music, and fantasy, which Rapture prefer over the mundane real world. Her interest is fantasy oriented movies, books, and fantasy art. She collects statues of griffins, chimeras, and dragons. Even if she doesn't really believe in it all herself, she has a big imagination and uses it to manipulate people, especially if she can earn something on it.

She loves to flirt, she thinks she can get any man she wants, and enjoys stealing men from other women, and dumps them once she succeeds. But she hasn't been able to charm Rio yet. She has a sharp tongue and says whatever she feels like. Except for Riot and Rapture, she doesn't like Americans.
