This is the overall trivia of the series. Here you'll find out alot of fun or useless info, things like:
did Rio kiss Jerrica or Jem more and how
many times, who rescued who, who has met who, who once left their group, who posed as who, who had a
makeover, what
charity did Jem and the Holograms take part in, what contests did they compete against the Misfits in and who won,
what songs appeared twice, and what orders of the episodes are there.
Episode order? The correct order of the episodes has been debated, and can be detemined either by the production number (which unfortunately places some events in the wrong order), original airing order (which doesn't correspond with production order), or the order in this site's episode guide which is how they were once aired in the US. Infact I might just have to create a fourth order at some point, by figuring out what is the most logical order according to all the events that take place. Re-appearing songs 34 of the songs appeared a second time with a new music video. "Music And Danse" was re-used in the same episode "Homeland, Heartland", "Hollywood Jem" in the same two-parter, and "Like A Dream" is the only song that appeared three times.
Here is a list of songs that appeared with two or more music videos:
Who is he kissing? How many times has Rio kissed Jem or Jerrica? And who has he kissed more?
And I'm counting only lips to lips here,
not the about-to-kisses or the ones that are so fast I can't tell if they are kissing.
In parenthesis is if it's in a music video, which is sometimes hard to tell if it's part of the story or not,
but I decided to count them. Given more time in the episodes than Jerrica, it's no
wonder Jem gets more kisses, but then again it is strange since Rio is not dating Jem. But excluding the music video kisses,
they get about equally many kisses from Rio. There's alot of episodes
where Rio doesn't appear though. And even when he does appear, like alot of the episodes in the middle of the series,
there may be romance even if not kisses.

To the rescue!
Who has rescued who and when? I'm ignoring Synergy since her holograms are covered on another page on this site
and sometimes giving credit to Jerrica instead if she thought of the idea to contact Synergy.
First and foremost I'm concentrating on when someone saved someone's life or did something
to help them save themselves, if it was vital to them being able to save themselves. Sometimes
more than one person are involved in the rescue. I'm only going to mention when a main character
is saved, and I'm only going to mention rescues where I know the name of the rescuer.

And hereby I pronounce Rio as the biggest hero of the show. He has rescued more people, and more times than anyone else.
This is even without having a holographic computer to his assistance. This
doesn't mean Jem is a typical show where the men rescue the women, because there's unusually many times that
female characters rescue each other, as you can see, or even a few times rescues a male character. Infact according to this list
there are more rescues by female characters in total.

Share a little bit! Charity Jem and the Holograms and sometimes even the Misfits have participated in.
Jem and the Holograms find out Ba Nee had a dengerative eye condition, probably inherited from her parents, and is about to go blind. When the original movie recording of Starbright got out of control, pretty much everyone except for Eric and the Misfits left the movie along with Jem and the Holograms to finish the Starbright movie for free, to help raise money to save Ba Nee's eye sight.
Mizz Sally Brand arranges a charity concert to fight world hunger. Jem and the Holograms and Sean Harrison are some of the performers who will also be included on a live album. Eric Raymond is the promoter, and the Misfits want to be part of it, for their own selfish reasons of course.
Jem and the Holograms decide to help Rick Franklin, the owner of ski lodge Green Fern, who is about to lose his lodge and mountain if he doesn't pay his mortgage payment to his banker in time. And there's been one suspicious break down after another. So Jem and the Holograms decide to support Rick by holding a concert at the end of the week for the guests that give the ski resort another chance. But after the ski lift is sabotaged and Jem and the Holograms are almost killed, they look up Eric Raymond accusing him for the accidents. Eric then suggest a ski race between Jem and the Holograms and the Misfits, winner takes both resorts.
Jem and the Holograms participate in Danse's benefit show to help raise funds for the runaways at Haven House. When Lindsey Pierce points out that the Music Awards takes place on the same evening, Jem and the Holograms turn down Danse's benefit. Until three Starlight girls, Deirdre, Krissie and Ba Nee run away, and Jem an the Holograms take up on the benefit event instead.
Jem and the Holograms decide to help Bobby Bailey save the building where he and the Tornadoes once recorded all of their gold albums. Eric Raymond is the one who wants to tear it down, to build the biggest record album factory on the east coast.
Eric Raymond bribed the sponsor of the four time winning racer of the Indy 500, Martino Grandzetti, to withdraw in the last moment, for him and his business associates to bet on another racer who is now certain to win. Instead Starlight Music agreed to be the sponsor. Then when Eric's business associate sabotages Martino's car, and Martino has an accident during the qualifying race, Jem even decides to take the place for the race.
Jem and the Holograms along with Ba Nee are holding a charity called the Rock Out Illiteracy tour in 47 cities across the country, with one stop being Roxy's hometown Philadelphia. The goal is for as many people as possible to learn how to read, and to inform them that it's never too late to start.
The old opera house in town which has been closed for years, is about to be sold to the highest bidder and probably torn down, if the owner, Frederick Vincent, can't pay off the back taxes. Rio who is on the local board of the historical preservation league, brings Jem and the Holograms to show them the opera house, and they agree to hold a benefit concert for Halloween, to help save the opera house by using the ticket money to pay the back taxes and restoring the building. Shana designs the costumes and Danse is choreographing a new dance number, and even the Starlight girls help out.
Jem and the Holograms are competing against the Misfits in Richard Xanthos' contest for the best music video about friendship and good will. Jerrica plans to give the prizemoney to the kids at Haven House, and Danse is going to appear in their video, but has an accident on set and has to work hard to recover from a bad leg-injury in time. Eric who wants the money, makes the Misfits change their image for the contest.
Jem and the Holograms are having a benefit tour by train, and all the proceeds will be donated to the Starlight foundation. And it also means they will be able to perform for all their small town fans.
Jem and the Holograms are playing benefit at the opening of Sir Hugh Ridley's new club in London. Apparently he is known for throwing big famine relief benefits, but this time he is only donating the proceeds to help a friend of his, the Earl of Wissex.
Jem and the Holograms are performing for this years charity ball arranged by Mrs. Farnsworth, with a Houdini theme, where all the proceeds will go to the childrens hospital for a new wing. Also one of the top young magicians are taking part, Astral. I'm Gonna Change! Who had a makeover?
Winning is everything! Who won what contests and awards. This isn't about the Misfits trying to stop Jem and the Holograms from performing and them making it in the end, this is about the more obvious contests. Warning for spoilers!
1. The Beginning: Jem and the Holograms win the Battle of the Bands in the park, over the Misfits, Leatherettes and the Space Cadets.
It's never mentioned officially, but you can read it in the magazine Eric is holding about Rio rescuing Jerrica and the
Holograms.
2. The Battle Of The Bands: Jem and the Holograms win the Battle of the Bands, where Jerrica gets full control of Starlight
Music, Jem and the Holograms get the Starlight Mansion and a movie contract from Howard Sands.
3. Starbright Part One: Falling Star: It wasn't a contest, but Pizzazz considers the Misfits the winners: "We won!", when Jem and the Holograms leave the
movie.
4. Starbright Part Three: Rising Star: The Jem and the Holograms movie "Starbright" beats the Misfits' movie "The Misfits Hit It Big" at the theaters.
5. Last Resorts: The Misfits win the ski race, by cheating though.
6. In Stitches: Jem and the Holograms win the rock fashion competition in Venice.
7. The Music Awards Part 2: The Misfits win the Best New Rock Group Award at the Hot Rocks music awards.
8. The Rock Fashion Book: The Jem and the Holograms rock fashion book is a success, and the Misfits don't get theirs
published even.
9. Broadway Magic: Jem and the Holograms are chosen by Bob Merrit to star in his new Broadway show, and Jem
manages to make it in the last second so the Misfits don't get the chance to take it over.
10. Hot Time In Hawaii: Jem and the Holograms win the annual Battle of the Music Stars in Honolulu, Hawaii.
11. Intrigue At The Indy 500: Jem wins the Indy 500 over Pizzazz, who atleast comes in second place.

contest, which means a gold album award and the Glitter and Gold roadster.

15. Aztec Enchantment: Video's rockvideo for Jem and the Holograms, wins the international rock video festival, beating Clash for the Misfits.
16. The Stingers Hit Town: Eric manages to get the Stingers to stay at the Gabor mansion and then sign with Misfits Music. Which
isn't considered a victory by all of the Misfits though.
17. The Day The Music Died: The Misfits finally get to take over the music scene when Jem and the Holograms aswell as the Stingers lost their
singers. They even take over Starlight Music and the Starlight Mansion.
18. But then Jem and Riot return, and everything somehow gets back to normal.
Let me be! Who left their group and why?
Jerrica is drowning in work at Starlight Music, and doesn't feel support from anyone. When Riot takes
Jem on a ride to a cruise ship, she finds herself some time to relax. Unknowing of the fact that Riot
is sending fake postcards to the others, saying Jem won't be returning to the Holograms, everyone is
in belief she has left forever, and everything goes out of control. (The Day The Music Died)
Kimber feels the band is all about Jem. Eric picks up on it and manages to persuade Kimber, and when
finally Lindsey Pierce asks for only Jem to appear on her show, Kimber has had enough and leaves the
Holograms. (Kimber's Rebellion).
Shana left the Holograms to become a fashion designer for the famous actress Liz Stratton. She
saw it as her chance to make it as a fashion designer, and wasn't able to also take part in the Holograms'
upcoming tour. (The Talent Search: Part 1)
Pizzazz leaves the Misfits after the other Misfits give her an ultimatum, to choose between Riot and
the Misfits. (The Stingers Hit Town: Part One)
Roxy leaves the Misfits after a failed TV-appearance where Pizzazz and Jetta make fun of her.
After she wins some money on a lottery ticket, she decides to leave the Misfits behind forever and
go back to Philadelphia. (Roxy Rumbles)
Stormer tries to get the Misfits to finish their new record, but all they do is make fun of her.
She tells them she hates them all, and leaves and goes to a club where she runs into Kimber.
They're asked to perform togheter and end up doing great music togheter, and decide to leave their
bands. (The Bands Break Up)
Riot left Nirvana when he realized he's better than the lead guitar player, who wouldn't let him play
lead, and Riot decides form his own band. (Riot's Hope)
Minx left her original band Nirvana when Riot left. (Riot's Hope)
Jetta, Raya, and Rapture have also been out of their groups, but that's because they joined in later.
Everybody Wears A Mask! Who dresses out as who? Or atleast pretends to be who? As you will notice, the Holograms got Synergy to help, but the Misfits aren't far behind.
