Show hosts/Reporters
As for the reporters, especially the unnamed ones, they usually didn't play an important part,
and weren't requested specificly by the writers. Often when a reporter was called for, an old model
design would be used. Although the same model designs were used in a bunch of episodes, they were
sometimes colored differently in hair and clothes. Even model designs of earlier characters
that weren't reporters, became that.
Lindsey Pierce is excluded on this page because she counts as a friend
of Jem and the Holograms and can be found on that page. Other than her, there were apparently
only three reporters that got featured twice, plus about five that were more or less only re-used by
their model design.

A TV reporter who questions Eric how he could know in advance about the explosion inside

|
A TV announcer who reports from the line of fans outside the Music Bowl where Jem and the Holograms
were to compete against the Misfits in the Battle of the Bands.
According to him, this contest had a huge impact on modern music, which will never be the same.
Episodes:
The Battle Of The Bands
|
She seems to be quite eager to get a good story, as she is the first reporter who runs in at
the World Studios where Jem and the Holograms and the Misfits are holding their press
conference for their movie "Starbright". She asks Jem and Nick if there's a love affair brewing.
And she assumes it was Jem who gave the Misfits a role in the movie, probably since Jem and the
Holograms were the ones who won the Battle of the Bands along with the movie contract.
A very funny note is that her role is expanded in the remade version of the episode "Starbright
Part One: Falling Star", where a male reporter was replaced by her, asking the same question to Eric.
Also in the episode "Broadway Magic", she appears, or atleast apparently the same
character model, with blonde hair and a purple outfit, asking Jem whether she is a spy. Also as a blonde
with a purple outfit she appears in the episode "Talent Search Part 1" as an employee at Starlight Music, and
among the audience when Xanthos reveals his choice for the winning
music video in "Danse Time". At another
occasion she also takes part in a press conference for the Misfits new album.

Follows up on the female reporter's question about Jem and Nick, but seems more aware of the
rivalry when asking how Jem feels about the Misfits taking part in the movie. He also took part
at the press conference where Jetta was announced as the new Misfit, and asks her why they've never
heard about her before if she is so famous.
He is the reporter that was re-animated in the remade version of the episode
"Starbright Part One: Falling Star", and replaced with the female reporter.
In the episodes "Broadway Magic" and "The Talent Search Part 1" he gets another haircolor and
color of his clothes (same in those two) than in "Starbright Part One: Falling Star".
Episodes:
Starbright Part One: "Falling Star"
Broadway Magic

pushes
Ashley aside to get closer to the stage (and then appears in Ashley's music video, taking a picture
of her, as she dreams of being a star). As a magazine reporter he also took part at the press
conference where Jetta was announced as the new Misfit.

whether he is looking for a song on Venice Beach. She gets quite annoyed when the Misfits
crash their set and almost ruins it, so she asks them what they are doing there, whether they
are working anywhere or just cruising for a vagrancy charge, whereto Jetta takes the microphone
right out of her hand and replies, but Connie then does the same right back. She asks Raya how it
feels to be the newest member of the Holograms. At another
time, she was invited to the Stingers part at Stingers Sound, to celebrate the Stingers' success,
